Online Academy (NDHSOA)

Please note the following NDHSOA policies and procedures (the following policies do not applyto non-Notre Dame students):

• Current Notre Dame High students may enroll in NDHSOA only to remediate grades(making up a "D" or "F" in credit courses).

• Notre Dame students seeking credit recovery through NDHSOA must complete all onlinecoursework prior to the start of the 2023-2024 school year (all NDHSOA courses are student-paced).

• Notre Dame students seeking advancement credit in any academic subject must get priorwritten permission from his/her counselor.

• Students are expected to log at least 1 hour of work on the course per day. The parents willeither be receiving regular communication and/or will have the ability to monitor their child’s progress.

• Students have 16 weeks to complete 5-unit courses and 32 weeks to complete 10-unitcourses. A request for a deadline extension may only be granted by the approval of the school counselor or instructor.

• Current Notre Dame students should allow an ample amount of time for the completion of online courses and are encouraged to register and begin NDHSOA coursework accordingly.

• Any act of cheating, plagiarizing, or any other type of activity deemed to be unethical oragainst the student code of conduct will be disciplined according to Notre Dame Schools’ academic integrity policy.

• Cancellation policy: You have 14 days to drop the course without any penalty. A full refund is available (minus a $25 registration fee) up until that day. No refunds are available after 14 days from registration.
